Nick Panay stresses the importance of early diagnosis of POI at ESG 2019

Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI) can be treated by hormonal replacement therapy, but according to professor Nick Panay, interviewed at the 2019 Congress of the European Society of Gynecology, diagnosing as early as possible is the key message. An early diagnosis avoids reduced quality of life in the short term, and problems with osteoporosis or cardiovascular risk factors in the long term.
