Nutritional advice
Hormone Health Associates Nigel Denby and Antonia de Gier are available to provide nutritional health advice and support.

Nigel Denby

Nigel Denby is an award-winning Registered Dietitian and has specialised in supporting women during the menopause transition for over 25 years. Nigel’s approach to nutrition and lifestyle advice is always practical. His motto is ‘No gimmicks, no fads and no quick fixes – just good, evidence-based nutrition’.

Outside of his clinical role, Nigel is the author of 10 nutrition books and regularly appears across print, television and radio. Nigel has also collaborated with the Women’s Health Concern, the patient of the British Menopause Society, to produce their new Menopause Wellness Hub, which focuses on the role of lifestyle at menopause.

In 2020 he founded the on-line Menopause Community Harley St at Home which has over 75,000 members.

Nigel supported women to manage their digestive health, cardiovascular health and general nutrition. His specialist area is working with women to build a personalised lifelong, lifestyle and weight management plan. He created the Back to Basics Menopause Weight Management and Lifestyle Programme which has been delivered to over 2000 women in the UK and across the globe.

Antonia de Gier

Antonia de Gier is a Registered Nutritional Therapist, who has trained at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (diploma) and the University of Middlesex (BSc Hons Nutritional Therapy) to understand the latest research in hormone health.

Antonia’s experience includes neurolinguistic programming and behaviour change techniques thereby allowing her to support those experiencing perimenopause and menopause with the physical, hormonal, and mental symptoms that accompany this natural phase of life through diet, supplementation, and lifestyle support.

Hormonal changes can have an impact on so many other systems in the body and complex inter connections and fluctuations are taking place at the same time. Antonia can provide help with all of these aspects, not just dietary, lifestyle and environmental areas, but understanding behaviours that may be stopping a woman from reaching her full potential, offering techniques that can help to find possible solutions to the life questions as they arise, practical solutions to build plans for the next stage of life, and simply to stop and listen.

Nigel and Antonia work closely with all the Hormone Health Associates to provide this complimentary assistance alongside any medical and HRT support. They are available for both face-to-face and online consultations.
