HRT and Alzheimer’s Disease
A new study has been published which studied the impact of different forms of HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) on the development of Alzheimer’s Disease.
It found that HRT could protect middle-aged women against the disease, but the patient numbers in the study are small so further larger scale studies need to be conducted before drawing any definite conclusions.
