Edition 14: New Year Resolutions
We hope you had a great festive season with your family and friends.
The New Year always gives us the opportunity to review our lives, both at work and at home. Diets are usually top of the list, but our specialist dietician Nigel Denby warns against just reacting to the latest fashion. “Everyone should consider their own personal circumstances, look at options that will suit their lifestyle and not look for a quick ‘fix’, but a sustainable one”.
If you would like a personal consultation with Nigel call us on 0207 034 1303.
We are pleased to announce that Dr Tina Peers has joined our team. As with all our associates, Tina is a specialist in women’s health, but has a particular interest in HRT, contraception and effective counselling.
Tina’s first clinic is on Tuesday 22nd January.
Wellbeing of Women and Harvey Nichols have teamed up to organise an interactive meeting to tackle the taboos of the menopause. Menopause: The Hot Topic at Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge, on Tuesday 29th January.
ITV’s Loose Women presenter Andrea Mclean will talk about her own experience, while a panel of medical experts, including our own Nick Panay, will be there to discuss symptoms and treatments. Menopause: The Hot Topic will cover practical help and information on menopausal symptoms, such as mood swings, anxiety, hot flushes and sleeplessness, as well advice on HRT and other treatments available. The event starts at 6.00pm with a drink and nibbles at CANVAS on the Fifth Floor of Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge and the discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A.
